Holland Park Luxurious Apartment Refurbishmemt
change-over.co.uk have recently completed a residential refurbishment project in Holland Park.
Our client bought the property towards the end of last year. The décor was dated and nobody had lived in the apartment for a long period of time. We started stripping the apartment of most of the old décor. The amenities in both of the bathrooms, the kitchen, as well as all the old wooden flooring and skirting, landed in the skip. The plaster work, ceilings and old cornice were kept due to their good condition. The entire apartment was rewired and we decided to install a combination of a combi boiler and 250-litre Megaflo. Both bathrooms were completely redesigned and layouts were changed. The master bathroom was turned into a wet room with white marble mosaic as the main aesthetic theme. The service room housing the Megaflo and the combi boiler were hidden behind a wall of mirrors with a push-open mechanism, making them invisible. We equipped the family bathroom with a large bath and a row of bespoke mirrored cabinets. We added a plywood floor as a base for the solid wood layer and later fitted large new Victorian skirting. The kitchen was designed and fitted by a bespoke kitchen designer and fitter. The entire apartment was redecorated using Farrow and Ball paint. The project was completed within 13 weeks. Our client was extremely happy with the high standard.
